 After all these were no rumors: today Apple has released a new iPod Mini and revamped the whole iPod Mini line, new capacity, aggressive pricing and extended battery life.

Main features:
- enhanced battery life: up to 18 hours,
- 4 or 6 GB hard disk,
- US$199 entry price for 4 GB model: lowest ever price for a hard disk-based iPod, US$249 for the brand-new 6 GB model,
(European price is Euro 209 for the 4 GB or Euro 259 for 6 GB model, available now)
- four colors: silver, pink, blue or green.
Just a note on rumors: past days rumors have been repeating the claim of a color display for this unit which didn't proved real... anyway it's a really good move over other MP3 players.
